Man plays 'fetch' with Beluga whale , watch adorable video

Beluga Whale

A friendly beluga whale was filmed playing "fetch" with a rugby ball and it's pretty cute.

That's right, one of the South Pole's marine mammals, which you may remember from a beloved children's song by Raffi, showed off its skill with the ball in a video posted online earlier this week.

The whale then chases the ball, returning it to the men on the boat. The man cruising through an ocean on a motor boat threw an oval ball to the Beluga whale in the deep waters.

Wherever in the world the footage was captured the fantastic video of the playful beluga has gone viral as rugby fans, whale lovers, and animal enthusiasts all cheer on the amusing little whale. Another version of the video was also shared on Facebook which has collected over 1.3 million views.

It seems like Bok fever has hit us all - including an adorable Beluga Whale. They are highly social animals who employ a diversified language of clicks, whistles, and clangs to communicate.
