Warren jokes "just marry one woman" to anti-gay marriage men

At a town hall event in Los Angeles Thursday night, Elizabeth Warren gave the flawless response to a question about "old fashioned" views of marriage.

During the town hall, the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates were asked questions exclusively about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer issues.

Morgan Cox, chair of the Human Rights Campaign Board of Directors, asked the MA senator how she would respond if an "old-fashioned" supporter told her that they believe marriage is between one man and one woman.

Asked for her response, Warren answered: 'I'm going to assume it's a guy who said that, and I'm just going to say: then just marry one woman, ' she said, to laughs. "I'm cool with that", she said, pausing slightly before delivering the punchline: "Assuming you can find one". Warren, who perhaps more than any other candidate seems to be genuinely having a great time on the campaign trail, is often fearless in her responses. "That might be one of the more Warren things we've ever seen". She says she does not remember having anti-gay views in her past, despite being enmeshed in a community where it wasn't yet safe to be openly LGBT. "And I'm going to say, 'Well, then just marry one woman".

"Elizabeth Warren attacks men of faith, suggests that no woman would ever be interested in them if they did not support gay marriage due to their faith", said one user. "Jesus loves all the children of the world", she sang.

"To me, it's about what I learned in the church I grew up in". It truly is about the preciousness of each and every life. Cuomo introduced Harris to lengthy applause from the audience, and had an awkward exchange. "It is about the worth of every human being". I get that people may make decisions for themselves that are different from the decisions other people make but by golly, those are decisions about you.
