Kevin Hart making 'progress' daily after crash

Kevin Hart Finally Speaks Out One Month After Car Accident

It has been determined that reckless driving was the cause of Kevin Hart's near-fatal accident in California, which resulted in the star requiring months of physical rehabilitation and major surgeries to fix his back.

On September 1st, Hart, Black, and Broxterman were involved in a near-fatal vehicle accident that left Hart with major back injuries where he was the passenger in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. It then plunged down an embankment and hit a tree.

Reports have said that Hart, 40, and Black, 28, suffered serious back injuries.

"There were fold and crease marks on the belt surfaces consistent with being folded and tucked into the seats and no indicators of occupant loading were present", the report said.

The CHP accident report, released Thursday and obtained by the Associated Press, also contained additional information regarding the state of Hart's souped-up 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and more specifics about the nature of the accident.

Kevin's attorney Andrew Brettler also revealed to EW that Kevin will not be fully back to work until early 2020. It said he violated the law, but did not say whether charges were likely. Yet, it looks like Kevin Hart is choosing to see "the upside" of this incident.

The crash report also details Hart leaving the scene after the accident while his two friends remained trapped: Broxterman was reportedly wedged between the top of the right passenger seat and the collapsed roof of the vehicle, with her head facing the windshield. It took place near Mulholland Highway and Cold Canyon Road.

The "Night School" producer and star left the scene of the crash after he exited the auto, which had recently undergone some snazzy alterations, including the addition of a 6.4 Liter Hemi V-8 supercharged engine.

According to an Instagram post in July, Hart said he bought the Barracuda for himself on his 40th birthday. "Being home makes me happy....enjoy your weekend people!".
