Goodyear listed its iconic blimp on Airbnb

Book a stay in the Goodyear Blimp for $150 a night on Airbnb

"Just like any host, we will be opening up our home to give the guests the best experience", chief pilot Jerry Hissem told USA TODAY.

The blimp has been providing aerial views of games since the 1955 Rose Bowl and will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as an honorary member later this season, the first non-player or coach to receive the honor.

While the Goodyear Blimp is often seen mid-air, guests who get the chance to stay in the airship will (thankfully!) be firmly grounded.

To celebrate 150 years of college football, Goodyear is working with Airbnb and offering one-night stays in the blimp for $150 a night, plus taxes and fees.

Fans can start requesting a stay on October 15 and choose between three dates (October 22, 23 and 24) before it flies out for the game on October 26. The price reflects the 150th anniversary of college football.

The booking window opens October 15. He will show guests around the property, which includes a football-themed lounge and a lakefront spot with a grill, fire pit, cornhole and other "tailgate essentials".

One-night stays are $150 on a first-come, first-served basis. They will also receive plenty of game day gear to deck them out in support of their team of choice!

The blimp features one bed and one bathroom, according to Airbnb.

The 246 foot long blimp will be stationed at a Mogadore, Ohio, hanger 'large enough to field a 99-yard pass'.

Forget a hotel-get in the college football spirit inside a blimp instead.

Guests aboard the Goodyear Blimp can tailgate during their stay.

A chance to book opens on October 15.

The blimp has soared above more than 2,000 entertainment events, and while some guests have boarded for a ride, this is the first time fans can stay overnight inside the gondola.
