Swift has thus become the first female artist to have six different albums each sell at least 500,000 copies in a single week.

"Lover" is highly personal for Swift, who's now engaged in a feud with Scooter Braun and former Big Machine label head Scott Borchetta over ownership of the masters to her first six albums.

This singer has never been shy about sharing her gratitude, whether that be for fans or other musicians.

Upon seeing Urban's cover of her song the next morning, Swift tweeted an enthusiastic thank you. The singer, 29, teamed up with the British radio station for acoustic performances of five of her own songs, as well as a cover of Phil Collins' iconic hit, "Can't Stop Loving You".
