Apple Asks Developers to Submit iOS 13 Apps for Review

Apple iOS 13

As we can see from the video there are some great tips to get your iPhone and iPad ready for the latest version of Apple's iOS software. But, to mitigate this issue, Facebook will be going by the setting that users have enabled for its app on Facebook background location settings, instead going by the setting enabled on the device.

iOS 13 also includes a number of new privacy-focused tools, including Sign in with Apple, a feature that will let you sign into apps and websites using your Apple ID.

The iOS 13, iPadOS 13, macOS 10.15 Catalina, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13 operating systems promise a plethora of new features and enhancements that will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

While iOS 12 offered users the option to allow apps to location information "Always", "While Using the App" or "Never", iOS 13 adds an additional "Allow Once" option for permitting one-time only access.

With iOS 13, it's much more advanced, offering more user choice about when and methods to share tracking data-particularly in background.

Facebook has come under fire multiple times in the past year for giving away users personal data without their knowledge.

Other features like Find Wi-Fi and Nearby Friends utilise your precise Global Positioning System location, regardless of whether you're now using the app. The home screen has been slightly changed so you can see more apps and pin widgets to it. You can control whether your device shares precise location information with Facebook via Location Services, a setting on your phone or tablet.
