Shweta Tiwari files police complaint against husband for torturing her daughter; read

Abhinav Abused Shweta's Daughter

There are rumours of their marriage in trouble since past year but Shweta had chosen not to comment on her marriage. What has aggravated matters, forcing her to march to the Samata Nagar police station in Kandivali to file a case against her husband was the fact that Abhinav Kohli hit her 17-year-old daughter, Palak, which was too much for the doting mother to take. But the flashpoint was reached in the last few hours when Abhinav slapped Palak in a fit of rage.

He used filthy language with the woman and showed her obscene photos of models on mobile phone on several occasions since October 2017, a second official said. She was accompanied by her mother and Palak. Abhinav was brought down to the police station around 1 pm and after that, the four of them were present there for almost 4 hours. He painted a picture of loving affection not only towards Shweta, but also towards her daughter Palak, whom he apparently accepted wholeheartedly.

There have been rumours of trouble in their marriage from nearly a year now. While Abhinav also had denied speaking on any kind of rumours. It seems that Shweta told to the police that Abhinav was often under the influence of alcohol.

According to a police spokesperson, "The victim and her mother went to the police station and lodged a complaint against the accused, following which police arrested him (on late Sunday night)". She said that he had seen Palak growing up and would never do such a thing like sexually harass her. Poonam Kohli said Abhinav looked after Palak when she was inside the house for Bigg Boss season 4.
