Olive Garden, every family's favorite Italian casual dining restaurant, is upgrading its Pasta Pass to the ultimate pasta lover's dream - the Lifetime Pasta Pass. In 2017, all 22,000 Pasta Passes also sold out in one second.

Olive Garden on Monday announced details of its Never Ending Pasta Pass and, for the first time, a chance at a Lifetime Pasta Pass.

The beloved chain known for its salad and breadsticks and massive portions is introducing a lifetime pasta pass, according to the company's website.

Fifty foodies can buy a "Lifetime Pasta Pass" for $500 each beginning Thursday at 2 p.m. The 50 who will be invited to pony up the additional $400 will be notified Friday, Olive Garden said. Want to find out how to get your own Lifetime Pass?

The winners are able to use their Lifetime Pasta Passes any day, with the exception of Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day when Olive Garden restaurants are closed. "With the introduction of our new Lifetime Pasta Pass, we're excited to be a part of our biggest fans' memories around the table for years to come".

The $100 pass allows customers to order from the Never Ending Pasta Bowl menu at the restaurant chain as many times as they wish for nine weeks, September 23 to November 24. Of those who opt in, 50 will receive a message inviting them to purchase the superior $400 pass. That pass grants all the benefits of the standard pass, but it is valid for the rest of the holder's life. Still, if you just dropped into Olive Garden once a month, the pass will still have paid for itself in less than four years - and let's be honest: If you had that pass, you'd definitely have lunch at Olive Garden a lot more often.
