Celebs React To Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello's Steamy VMAs Performance

Shawn Mendes was not passionately kissing at the event

Not only was the show Cabello and Mendes' award show debut since being romantically linked this summer, but the pair also took home the best collaboration award and took the stage together again for their acceptance speeches.

While we didn't get a kiss on the dimly lit stage, these two got very, very close as they sang their heats out while surrounded by candles. Then Cabello rubbed her nose up against Mendes' to wrap up the performance.

This isn't the first time the former Fifth Harmony member and the If I Can't Have You singer were seen packing on the PDA.

Beyond watching the two love-birds play hard to get on the red carpet, fans were eagerly anticipating the (first-ever) TV performance of their latest hit single across the globe, Señorita. "We really put everything into this song and couldn't have wished for more". "We are so happy to be a part of moments like these". Cabello added, "What he said", before she thanked the fans and said: "Get wasted!" The song's music video is nominated for five VMAs, including Best Collaboration, Best Cinematography and Song of the Summer.

"I just wanted to thank you guys so much for making me MTV's Push artist of the year", Billie told fans in the video. Fans were pretty upset when Shawn and Camila made a decision to walk the carpet separately at the award show, but this new video reveals that Shawn paid a visit to Camila's dressing room RIGHT after he got done walking himself! "Since it's the official debuting of them as a couple and they want it to be wonderful and flawless".
