'Star Trek: Insurrection' actor Stephanie Niznik dies at 52

Stephanie Niznik has died at the age of 52.

A native of Bangor, Maine, she originally meant to become a geneticist before graduating from Duke U. with majors in theater and Russian.

For Nina Feeney, the neighbor of the Brown family, and ultimately for Dr. Andy Brown, (Treat Williams) at Everwood Niznik became a prominent figure. The report that Variety gave out does not include cause of death, nor does it explain why her passing wasn't reported until over two weeks after her time of death.

Stephanie Niznik additionally starred on standard TV exhibits like Gray's Anatomy, Life is Wild, CSI: Miami, NCIS, Misplaced and The Twenty. Stephanie Niznik returned to the Star Trek franchise. She also played Perim in the 1998 movie Star Trek: Insurrection. This time she played the role of The Wraith in Star Trek: Enterprise which was telecasted on UPN in 2002.

United States publication Variety reported that the death was "unexpected".

In 2017, Stephanie was seen with the cast of television series, Everwood.

Series creator Greg Berlanti and executive producer Rina Mimoun were also at the reunion, though Chris Pratt and Sarah Drew did not make the event.

She has also appeared in the film Exit to Eden. Niznik survives by her mother, stepmother, brother and lawyer, and her niece, nephews, aunt and uncle, and Nucleus and Jake, her beloved dogs. "I'm lucky to have known her. Rest In Peace Stephanie".
