Shocking Footage Shows Huge Fight Break Out At Disneyland, California

Video shows violent family fight at Disneyland as stunned parkgoers try to intervene

Footage of the fight, which went viral on YouTube with almost 1 million views, shows a group of parkgoers from the same family throwing punches at one another near Goofy's house in Mickey's Toontown, an area of the theme park catering toward younger visitors.

Anaheim Police said that officers tried to interview the relatives but said that no one was cooperative.

On Wednesday morning, police confirmed the case was sent to the Orange County District Attorney's Office for possible prosecution.

Two men square off for a fight at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., on July 6, 2019.

Footage recorded by a bystander shows the fight breaking out between a man in a red shirt and a woman pushing a stroller. Sgt. Daron Wyatt later said the family was "uncooperative" with authorities.

There were several children stuck in the middle of the melee that were miraculously unharmed.

The Texas football coach who was on vacation with his family at the theme park was among those who bravely stepped in to stop the confrontation.

The distributing video shows a woman apparently spit in her brother's face.

By the time security arrives, the man who apparently started the fight had been tackled to the ground by several other men.

By that point, the crowd had subdued one of the men involved, taking him down after the video captured him pummeling one of the women.

Even if you expected a fight in Disneyland, you'd have never thought that you could see a Battle royal among the family members.

Disneyland issued a statement on Twitter regarding the incident and noted the Anaheim Police Department are conducting an investigation. They also tagged the OCFJC Foundation for anybody seeking help for domestic violence due to the nature of the video.

"Any type of violence is inexcusable and will not be tolerated", Disneyland spokeswoman Liz Jaeger said.

"Those involved were immediately removed from the premises and turned over to [the Anaheim Police Department, ]" they concluded. The family may have gotten away without any repercussions had the video not surfaced but now they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
