Nokia 9 PureView launch teased in India

Nokia 9 PureView with a penta-camera system launching in India soon: HMD Global

The company stated that, "Explore much more than meets the eye with the power of 5". Its rear camera comes with penta setup. However, there wasn't any "coming soon" hinted in that teaser, unlike the latest Twitter post by Nokia. So clearly, the upcoming Nokia phone will offer a 48MP rear camera like other devices launching in recent times.

The Nokia 9 PureView was first launched at MWC Barcelona this year. Rs. 50,000). While the company is yet to confirm when exactly the launch will happen and what will be the pricing of this Nokia flagship in India, we can expect it to be priced somewhere around the global pricing. The highlight of the smartphone is the ZEISS-branded penta-camera module consisting of dual 12MP RGB sensors and three 2MP monochromatic sensors with f/1.8 aperture. This video indicates that the phone that will be launched will have 5 cameras and as we all know, the Nokia 9 is pureView that comes with this quality.

When Nokia revealed the 9 PureView with its unique camera arrangement, people thought it couldnt get any weirder.

The phone will employ a waterdrop notch for the front camera, skipping out on the insane pop-up camera setups and the nascent in-display camera technology. The performance department is being handled by the last year's Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is further backed by 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. It has a front camera of 20-megapixel. As there is an IP67 rating on the phone, the phone will assuredly resist dust and water. There at least two cameras on the back, housed within a circular casing. The screen has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection.

The phone is pictured with a notch on the front and clean Android with Google services as is the norm for HMD-made Nokia phones. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, Global Positioning System and a USB Type-C port. Making sure everything ticks is a 3,320mAh battery with support for Qi wireless charging.
