New 'Old Town Road' remix has Mason Ramsey, Young Thug, and animojis

Lil Nas X Appears To Be Teasing Yet Another 'Old Town Road' Remix

"I believe Young Thug would be one of the biggest pioneers in that". Similar to the Billy Ray Cyrus verse in the first remix, people were mostly amazed at how great Mason Ramsey's contribution was. However, little Mason hops right in at the end to deliver a few bars.

The latest edition of the chart-topping track, which was released on Friday (July 12), has been months in the making.

Lil Nas X appreciated the support.

More news: Surprise! Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz are officially hitched

During an interview with TIME back in April, Lil Nas X credited Thug for popularizing the "country-trap" sound heard on "Old Town Road". Only two songs have made it to the 16-week benchmark: Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's collaboration "One Sweet Day", and Luis Fonsi, featuring Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber, with "Despacito". "It's both. It should be on both [charts]", Nas X told Time following criticism of his genre-defying, breakout single. "I believe whenever you're trying something new, it's always going to get some kind of bad reception". Young Thug began the campaign to bring cowboy aesthetics to rap music. "To me, my most defining moment in the country was being joined by George Jones and Loretta Lynn on my self-penned 'Country Music Has the Blues, '" said Cyrus. A new remix featuring Young Thug and viral sensation Mason Ramsey has hit the airwaves, and the results are surprisingly sharp.

The remix might not have the same impact as the first remix but it could potentially propel "Old Town Road" to break the record for "Most Weeks Spent at #1" on the Billboard charts.
