Kristofferson, Streisand Reunite for 'A Star Is Born' Duet

Barbra Streisand celebrates Pride with headline show in Hyde Park

Here's a song that we sang together in the movie, right? Streisand and Kristofferson's adaption of A Star is Born went on to win five Golden Globe Awards in 1977 including Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy, while both leading stars picked up wins for Best Actress and Best Actor for Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.

She told the crowd: "On the way here, the driver asked me if I'd gone to any of the Pride celebrations".

Although the song is unremittingly hopeful in its romanticism, there was added bittersweetness now as it began with the line, "Time has come again ..."

One of the most iconic tracks from the film was "Lost Inside of You" and 43 years later, the pair have reunited for an incredible rendition of the duet.

Streisand and the late Leon Russell co-wrote "Lost Inside of You" for the film's soundtrack. Streisand has only ever added the song to her setlist on her 2012 and 2013 tours, where it was performed in partnership with her tourmate at the time, Chris Botti. Kristofferson was actually third down on the all-day bill, separated from the headliner by a set from Bryan Ferry.

The singer and her superfan met briefly at the Oscars, and now Grant has met up with his idol at one of her shows.

Streisand took the reins after Kristofferson's performance, offering up a nostalgic setlist chock-full of classic songs including "As If We Never Said Goodbye", "Alfie", "Second Hand Rose", "Silent Night", "What the World Needs Now" and "The Man That Got Away".
