Kanye West Reportedly Building 'Star Wars'-Inspired Units For California's Homeless

Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2

Kanye West pulled himself out of vast financial debt, mostly thanks to his billion dollar fashion empire and coupling up with one of the most influential faces in the world.

Sci-fi associations aside, this is in no way a surprising development from West, who has a longstanding fascination with design, architects, and architecture in general, and has stated his intentions to draft buildings of his own multiple times. Yeezy predominantly contributed to his $150 million earnings previous year.

"I watch every day how hard he works and how much of his heart and soul he puts into his business, every idea, and product that he creates", Kardashian wrote in an Instagram post.

One of the more impressive parts of the line, however, is the agreement West struck in 2013 to move Yeezy from Nike to Adidas. According to Forbes, the company gives West a 15% royalty on wholesale, plus a marketing fee.

When basketball and sneaker brand legend, Michael Jordan gets royalties on the Air Jordan line, he's estimated to received around 5 percent of annual sales that come out to about $3billion.

Kanye West is planning to build low cost housing units inspired by "Star Wars" in order to help give shelter to the homeless. The rapper, combined with his other ventures, is expected to reach billionaire status in the future.

Among all the subjects mentioned in his very good interview with Forbes, Kanye West talked about a project that seems insane but is already well advanced. He recalled asking Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1 billion in his company. "There's a little bit of Lamborghini in everything I do", West says.
