Gatwick Airport: Flights resume after ATC issue

Gatwick Airport

According to Gatwick Airport's website, flights have resumed from 7.20pm United Kingdom time after almost two hours of chaos.

In a statement issued by the airport, Gatwick said that it was working "to rectify this issue as quickly as possible", and that some of their flights have been diverted to other airports.

London's Gatwick Airport suspended all flights for about 2 hours Wednesday after having problems with its air traffic control systems, and though flights resumed, airport officials expected further delays and cancellations in the evening.
