But fans attending the Irish show were in for a special treat when the pair took to the stage together for a duet of Will The Circle Be Unbroken - marking the first time they've shared the stage since they performed in NY back in 1994.

The 78-year-old musician hadn't included the song in his set since May 1976, when he performed in Houston, Texas, on his "Rolling Thunder Review Tour". Per Rolling Stone, the last time Young and Dylan shared a stage was during a 1994 show at New York's Roseland Ballroom. Young has also played the song live in the past, performing it alongside Willie Nelson several times in the last couple decades. DANG NABBIT#@*?! We promise to get to the bottom of it and sort it out!

Young's part of the show was streamed on his Archives subscriber service, but that didn't mean that the duet was part of the broadcast: It came up 11 songs into Dylan's 20-number set.

Though the Kilkenny show will be re-broadcast via the subscription service Neil Young Archives sometime later this week, Young announced on social media that the stream will not include their duet, writing "we've chose to re-broadcast the Kilkenny show for you all on The Archives for 24 hours sometime this week".
