Assassin's Creed Odyssey Story Creator XP Farming Quests Have Been Banned

Sorry no free XP for you Kassandra. You'll have to stab those Spartans the old fashioned way

Ubisoft mentioned that the exploits "risk jeopardizing the overall quality, integrity, and goal of Story Creator Mode", and make creative levels less visible to the community. As detailed in a post over on the Odyssey forums, Ubisoft plans on changing the way that Story Creator Mode functions to discourage any experience farming quests. If you assumed Ubisoft would be okay with XP farming in a single-player game without any striking competitive aspects, you'll need to consider again.

"These exploits risk jeopardizing the overall quality, integrity, and objective of Story Creator Mode", Ubisoft said in their official statement. Players who continue to use the tool in this way will be banned. So, naturally, people started creating quests that were basically XP farming tools.

Last month, Ubisoft released the Story Creator mode for its already sprawling RPG Epic, Assassin's Creed Odyssey. There is also brief mention of upcoming changes that will further reward creativity and highlight quality user-created quests.

There is a little bit of controversy here as Assassin's Creed Odyssey does contain microtransactions that help you speed up the levelling process. And, while we're still on the topic of abilities, there are also Keeper's Insight tablets which will allow you to essentially supercharge three existing skills to new, more powerful heights. While some players have run wild with this, creating elaborate stories for other people to play through, there's also been a set of players who have created quests that essentially feed the player XP. This is just speculation, but maybe those people will only be barred from using the Story Creator Mode feature.

Ubisoft has banned quests made in the Story Creator Mode of Assassin's Creed Odyssey that allow players to gain experience points without doing anything.

Prime Day would not precisely match a Steam sale on the subject of reductions on the largest PC video games, however you'll nonetheless discover a number of real bargains on Amazon UK. You can imbue each weapon with Assassin, Hunter, or Warrior enhancements. It's up to the fans to decide if XP boosters are fair for developers to offer up as microtransaction content while simultaneously disallowing gamers to develop their own questlines to boost the leveling of their characters.
