Rapper Offset escapes drive-by shooting at Atlanta recording studio

Rapper Offset was reportedly caught in the middle of a drive-by shooting at a recording studio in Atlanta, Georgia on Wednesday night, May 08.

The security cameras were able to capture a dark SUV speeding by and one person leaning outside the passenger side window, obviously armed.

When the gunshots rang out, people inside the studio supposedly rushed into another room for cover until the situation was calm again.

Last night, Offset was recording at a studio in Atlanta when bullets started flying toward the building, striking several vehicles and damaging the studio's exterior. Sources have confirmed to the celebrity news site that there is surveillance footage of the entire incident, so hopefully it will help police find the suspects. "Atlanta Police responded to 1310 Ellsworth Industrial Pkwy in reference to a call of shots fired", the statement obtained by Fox News reads. It's unclear if Offset was still outside when the shooting occurred.

The shooting resulted in damage to three vehicles, the building and the window of an apartment in the area.

One report suggested someone suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, but officers were unable to locate the alleged victim.

Citing law enforcement sources, the outlet reported that Offset was gone by the time police responded to the shooting, and that the police have not spoken to him yet as they continue their investigation.

Offset has remained silent on the reports, but cops are actively investigating the shooting.
