The 72nd edition of the annual Cannes Film Festival kicked off this week in the south of France, and the parade of high-wattage jewels that help make Cannes one of the most glamorous red carpets in the world has officially begun.

Hina, known for her roles in shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, wore the glittery grey gown with a moderate trail and a plunging neckline.

Deepika, here to represent a cosmetics brand, wore a creation by designer Peter Dundas for the event. Other B-town actors expected to make an appearance today are, Diana Penty, Mallika Sherawat and Huma Qureshi.
