Evra Launches Brutal Rant On Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez

Dressing room row: Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba in conflict over scoring bonuses

Manchester United Frenchman, Paul Pogba, will leave the English Premier League club over fan criticism of him, the club's former defender Patrice Evra said. His gesture was met booing from some of them.

And Evra believes a number of players, including Paul Pogba, will depart Old Trafford this summer.

"Some players only come for the money, I am not afraid to say that", he told Sky Sports News.

"He had Manchester City, they were offering less money but he was going to play better football than United - I'm sorry about that, but City play better football and Guardiola will improve him".

Evra's comments caused split opinion on social media as factions of the fans feel that Pogba is justified to leave the club and seek greener pastures.

"If Paul decides to stay another year and then leave, or stay another few years, maybe the fans will love him because he is committed". "I have nothing against Alexis Sanchez but when I saw the deal that's when I thought the Manchester United history just went down", the former United star opined.

"I don't talk for Paul, whether he stays or leaves, but when you have negativity around you, you should leave".

Real Madrid are keen to sign the 26-year-old and Evra would not be surprised to see Pogba move on just three years after United spent £89million on him.

Sunday's defeat on the last day of the season consigned United to a sixth-placed finish, five points shy of Tottenham and the final Champions League qualifying spot.

Sanchez and Pogba argued over who would take a penalty for United against Leicester City earlier this season, which the report indicated was possibly down to the bonus system backfiring.

Just like Pogba, Sanchez is also attracting interest with the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan reportedly weighing up an offer for him. Let us know what you think.

"I sacrificed my life a lot to succeed during all my career and if I want a role in Manchester United right now, then I would have to sacrifice my life all over again".
