EA Access coming to PS4 in July

PS Plus FREE GAMES rival coming to PlayStation 4 later this summer

EA Access, a monthly subscription service for a bunch of Electronic Arts games, will finally come to PS4 almost five years after it started on Xbox One. We also don't know which games EA Access on PS4 will launch with. This is likely where Anthem and Battlefield V will end up, seeing as how they are now available on Xbox One in the same capacity. "Our goal is to give players more choice to try and play our games wherever and however they choose and we're happy to bring the service to PlayStation 4". Perhaps it was recognizing the success of EA Access on rival platforms that caused Sony to do an about-face on its unpopular decision, similar to what happened with their approach to cross-platform support. That includes games, DLC, and even in-game items. These are actual trials of the game, and not just videos or news shared in an exclusive newsletter.

With an EA Access subscription, players get access to the bulk EA's current-generation games through the EA Access Vault. Oftentimes, EA Access subscribers can play new games a week or so earlier than everyone else, so that's another reason to sign up for the service.

But again, we don't know what games EA Access on PS4 will have at launch. Older games like Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mass Effect, and Dead Space are available to members free to play as long as they like.

This includes relatively new releases like National Hockey League 19 and Madden 19, as well as titles like Unravel 2, Fe and Burnout Paradise Remastered.
