Britney Spears' career may be over, longtime manager says

Britney Spears BF speaks out

Britney Spears's longtime manager Larry Rudolph says the singer may never perform again. "We had to pull her show because her meds stopped working and she was distraught over her dad's illness", he was quoted in the story.

Earlier this month, a judge in Los Angeles ordered an expert evaluation on Spears' conservatorship, which has been run by her father.

For the future, Rudolph said, "I don't want her to work again 'till she's ready, physically, mentally and passionately".

Britney Spears has been going through a relatively rough time recently but unfortunately for her fans, the issues she's dealing with now might have a long-term effect on her career. "I am only here for her when she wants to work", Rudolph continued.

She argued that under the rules of the conservatorship, Jamie does not have the power to either commit her against her will or make her take prescription pills. "To me, it's about her finding her happy place".

"The residency, which was supposed to kick off February 13, was put on ice".

"As I said to [TMZ's Harvey Levin]: I have one role in Britney's life". "I look at her nearly like I look at my own daughter". And, if she ever does want to work again, I am here to tell her if it is a good idea or not, " he said. "She's putting herself ahead of everyone else, and I'm proud of her for that". He remains the court-approved conservator of her business affairs.

Rudolph said that there are no plans to resume the show at this time.

Larry further elaborated on his comments about Britney's future in performing when he spoke with Billboard to make his meaning more clear.

"He insisted, "[Britney] is the one whose focus is on [getting better].

"Just checking in with all of you who are concerned about me. I hope the people allow her to have her private time". "My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately, so I just needed time to deal".

Some unconfirmed media reports, citing an unidentified tipster, claimed the singer was refusing to take medication that had been prescribed in the wake of her erratic behavior in 2007 and 2008.

While Jamie has controlled his daughter's finances ever since her infamous public breakdown in 2007, Britney is fighting in the courts to end the arrangement. "It's not about a career anymore - it's about life".

In regards to her second Sin City live tour (which has been canceled), many believe Spears was pushed beyond her limits consider her (alleged) fragile mental state. She's given so much.
