A Free Pokemon Mobile Game Just Launched In Australia

Another Pokemon Mobile Game Announced, Out Now In Some Regions

Besides this game, Pokemon fans can also look forward to the Pokemon Sword and Shield game which will also be arriving in a few months time. It puts players in command of chibi "Pokemon" as they beat other "Pokemon" in the game. If you forgot about the Pokeland game announced back in 2017, this is it now under another name. The Pokemon Company confirmed the new entry with a soft launch first available exclusively in Australia via Google Play for Android mobile devices.

The game is available for only Android users yet but it will be available for iOS soon.

The game is called Pokemon Rumble Rush, where you start as a Rattata, exploring an island, capturing wild Pokemon and battling your way around. And that's very important since you'll need a very powerful party of Pokemon to take on the islands' Super Bosses.

As expected, this is a free-to-play mobile game with in-app purchases. Players can upgrade Pokemon by utilizing "power gears", or they can summon particularly powerful Pokemon like Charizard by using a "mobilize gear".

The game is now only available for Android and in Australia.

"Pokemon Rumble Rush" is already available for download from the Aussie Play Store.

In any case, The Pokemon Company explained in a blog post today that players will earn equippable items called gears as they explore each island. During exploration, a hint function might display the Pokemon species that inhabit that area, and when players view a map of an island, they might also see hot air balloons floating by. Once refined, ores can enhance a "Pokemon's" stats or increase their CP, which, as mentioned above needs to be increased as players progress in the game.
