WWE legend Bret Hart attacked by fan during Hall of Fame speech

Bret Hart Was Attacked at the WWE Hall of Fame

The fan jumped the barricade and climbed into the ring during Hart's induction speech at the Barclays Center at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday, according to police. The camera feed was instantly cut, but security officials and numerous WWE stars gathered at ringside quickly rushed into the ring to aid Hart.

Hart, 61, was giving his speech alongside Natalya Neidhart, daughter of his former tag team-mate Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. The camera cut away to a blank screen for about a minute, but came back to Edge, Beth Phoenix, Tyson Kidd, Drake Maverick and several others checking on Kidd and Hart. Hart was addressed the crowd during his WWE Hall of Fame induction speech when a man rushed into the ring and tackled the superstar. The event took place on Saturday night April 6 where she was inducted along with Shawn Michaels, Triple H, The New Age Outlaws and X-Pac.

Neidhart, who herself is a WWE star, posted a tribute to Hart afterwards.
