Trump Considers Daughter Ivanka To Lead World Bank

Trump Refers To Ivanka As 'Baby' During Meetings, Thinks She Should Run For President

US President Donald Trump has heaped praise on his daughter, Ivanka, saying she's a "natural diplomat".

Speaking to The Atlantic, Mr Trump confirmed reports from January that he was considering Ivanka for the vacant position of World Bank president. "Because she didn't cause me to break up the marriage like the other one-I don't even want to pronounce her name".

Officials wrapped up the spring meetings of the 189-nation International Monetary Fund and the World Bank on Saturday, expressing hope the slowdown that began last year will be followed by stronger growth in the second half of this year and into 2020.

While Ivanka does not have an extensive background in global development or trade economics, she holds an economics degree and spent much of her career as a businesswoman and entrepreneur.

She has been involved in World Bank initiatives on the economic development of women.

Ivana Trump revealed the truth on how her daughter Ivanka really feels about her stepmom and First Lady, Melania Trump.

Ivanka Trump presumably has a lower impression of Maples than she does of Melania Trump, but The Atlantic story only offers a glimpse of her reaction to that coupling at a young age. "If she wanted to ever run for President, she would be hit very, very hard", he says.

Donald Trump married Ivana Trump in 1977.

The piece portrays Ivanka as Trump's heir apparent, and it opens up with this anecdote about how Trump suddenly "lit up" when his daughter suddenly walked on an interview her father was giving for Plott's article.

Ivanka and Kushner also raised eyebrows after a White House whistleblower told congressional committees that Trump stepped in to grant the couple security clearances after they had both been initially rejected for clearance status.

"If I did, they'd say nepotism, when it would've had nothing to do with nepotism".
