She said she felt alone after her friends and brothers moved away for college, while she was working on Game of Thrones and living with her parents.

Actor Sophie Turner has said that she contemplated suicide partially because of the social media scrutiny that followed after she gained popularity through Game of Thrones.

The star admits her battle with depression caused her to withdraw from society.

"So I'm still on that, and I'm just about to go into press for the final season of Game Of Thrones and a movie Dark Phoenix that I did, the latest X-Men is about to come out in June, so I'm getting ready for a big press tour for that". "I would cry and cry and cry".

Speaking to E! News, the "Sucker" hitmaker said: "That was one of our first dates. but it wasn't even really a date, I don't know how to describe it".

Turner explained that the constant barrage of negativity about her looks, the character she portrayed, and other criticism lead her to that way of thinking. "I have nothing that I want to do".

Thankfully she got help, but she kept her therapy sessions to herself for a long time.

"I'm just fascinated in the study of why people are the way they are". All you have to do is to speak to someone, and you can get the help that you need.

Sophie revealed that she actually internalised many of these comments.

"I just got very, very self-conscious", she admitted. Her words will hopefully spark awareness of what officials have called a public health crisis to due rising suicide rates. "So, I'm still on that".

"I think it contributed". I was like, 'Oh my God, and I get paid for it as well! "That's something that really interests me". "It's a great feeling".

"I mean, we are getting married in France, so a lot of Coors Light is necessary", he said.
