The Division 2 Tidal Basin Update Available Now

The Division 2's first free post-launch update, Tidal Basin, releases tomorrow

UPDATE: The Division 2 developer Ubisoft has released the full set of patch notes for Tidal Basin update 1.05.

We are expecting to see two more free updates from Ubisoft after this but there are not many details about those yet. Now fast forward another week, and it is finally time for those things (and much more) to be added into the game as part of The Division 2 Invasion: Battle for DC updates.

Beat Tidal Basin and you'll advance to World Tier 5, which lets you gain gear with scores of 450-500.

The groundwork is also being laid for the April 25 8-Player Raid - Operation Dark Hours.

The Division 2's Invasion: Battle for D.C. will also be adding a new Heroic difficulty setting that will make for "some of the most challenging gameplay yet". And there's new gear sets too in True Patriot, Hardwired and Ongoing Directive. If you don't own a Year 1 Pass, you'll still get all the content in the title updates, but no classified assignments and you'll have to work to unlock the specialization through various objectives in the game. Head to the White House base of operations and complete the daily missions available to you. For the latest news on Tom Clancy's The Division 2 and all of Ubisoft's games, visit Ubisoft News:

Remember that this content is available once you have progressed to World Tier 4 and achieved at least 425 gear score. However, players are going to receive some of the best loot in the game by partaking in these invasions and winning.

Once you have completed the Tidal Basin mission and unlocked World Tier 5, you will also be given access to weekly invasions.

As promised, Ubisoft rolled out the Tidal Basin update for Tom Clancy's The Division 2. Here players can get the Weekly Invaded Missions to play on any difficulty where the Black Tusk has taken control over selected previous main story missions and strongholds in the city.

After the event ends on April 25, players can still use their leftover keys to open caches as well as purchase additional ones to complete apparel sets until May 2, but will no longer earn keys through the game."
