Samsung is all geared up to launch the brand spanking new Galaxy A90 as the latest addition to its Galaxy A series of smartphones.

The rumour mill says that the Samsung Galaxy A90 (or it could be called the Galaxy A80) will be the star of the show after SmartPrix found a reference to the phone in the source code of Samsung India's teaser page.

Samsung Galaxy A-series is getting a global unveiling today, at events in Bangkok, Milan, and Sao Paulo.

Anyway, the live stream for "A Galaxy Event" will start at 5:30PM IST on April 10th, and you'll be able to watch it here or via this link. As per the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A80 will come powered by Snapdragon 675 processor paired with 8GB RAM and run on Android 9 Pie operating system. The setup will reportedly comprise of a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a third 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. As for the score, the alleged Samsung Galaxy A80 scored 2,488 and 6,732 points in single and multi-core tests, respectively.

The phone could be a mid-range premium smartphone with a price-tag of close to Rs 50,000. The official price tags will probably be announced at the event. Back in January, the company launched three Galaxy A smartphones - Galaxy A10, A30 and A50.

For those who don't know, Samsung has a range of series including Galaxy S lineup, Galaxy A, Galaxy J, Galaxy On and Galaxy M series.

As part of the launch offers, the Galaxy M30 buyers can get double data offer from Reliance Jio on prepaid recharges of Rs 198 and Rs 299, no cost EMIs up to 6 months, total damage protection at just Rs 1,199 and more. Samsung Galaxy A10 is a budget device, which is priced at Rs 8,490.
