It's a year of endings for TV and movies what with 'Game of Thrones' and 'Avengers' finishing up, and it's expected X-Men will be saying their goodbyes too (for now) with the upcoming 'Dark Phoenix' following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox recently. As she struggles to manage these new abilities, she begins to lose control-putting the world and her X-Men family in danger. Where in other trailers Jean was entirely remorseful about the atrocities she had committed while under the Phoenix's influence, in this final trailer, she touches on the other side of the coin.

It all appears likely to lead to a showdown with Magneto, who is keen to eliminate Phoenix as a threat, though she appears more than a match for him.

With the Disney/Fox deal officially in effect, the current incarnation of the X-Men are in their final days.
