In the images she posted, a healthy brain is compared to a PTSD-affected one, with healthy brain being nearly entirely dark and the affected one having numerous illuminated areas.

Ariana Grande did not mean to startle her fans when she posted a picture of her brain scan the other day.

Ariana recently opened up about her mental health when she was interviewed for British Vogue in August 2018. Next to it is another image of a brain with PTSD; that scan has many areas that are brighter, illuminated.

She added: "I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well".

Ariana Grande's brain scan is the bottom one, which she captioned "Not a joke". I feel like I shouldn't even be talking about my own experience-like I shouldn't even say anything.

"Didn't mean to startle anyone with my brain thingy", she wrote in a follow-up post on Instagram. "I don't think I'll ever know how to talk about it and not cry".

The Boca Raton pop singer shared brain scans to highlight how her brain has been affected by the terrorist act at her London concert two years ago that killed almost two dozen people. "I love science and seeing the physical reality of what's going on in there was incredible to me". Time is the biggest thing.

The image shows how the pop star is still feeling the effects following the Manchester terror attack which killed 22 people during her Dangerous Woman tour on 22 May 2017. "I found it informative and interesting and wanted to encourage ya'll to make sure you check on your brains / listen to your bodies / take care of yourselves too".

"I just hope she doesn't overwork herself and drain herself anymore mentally/physically", one person wrote on Twitter. As the two-year anniversary of the Manchester bombing grows closer, we can see that the tragic effects of the attack are still greatly affecting the star.
