Windows 10

Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 has hit a couple of major milestones, where it was spread far and wide today that over 800 million devices have Windows 10 installed. If you compare Windows 7, it took almost 4 extra years for Microsoft to reach the target of 800 million devices. We could see Windows 10 receive a big boost from gamers this year though, as the Halo Master Chief Collection and Gears of War 5 are both set to launch this year.

It seems like the tech giant has completely focused on the bug fixes and general improvements and has now stopped working on developing new features. People with all kinds of hardware configurations have been experiencing the issue, and it doesn't matter if you're Intel of AMD: you'll be getting input lag and frame rate drops.

Microsoft admitted that it likely wouldn't reach 1 billion devices by 2018 back in mid 2016.

Estimates based on third-party data put Windows 10 on substantially fewer PCs.
