Beto O'Rourke Says Time to Make Pot Legal and 'Not Cool' in US

Beto O'Rourke cheers as he listens to Bobby Pulido sing "desvelado" during a campiagn stop at HEB Park in Edinburg Tuesday, May 01,2018.

Hours after O'Rourke announced he would run for president, the former Democratic congressman's website became a focal point for many of his critics.

O'Rourke is holding a Texas kickoff of his presidential campaign March 30 in El Paso.

Asked if he was more threatened by O'Rourke or former Vice President Joe Biden, Trump said: "whoever it is I'll take him or her on". "You may have that in Iowa as well, where farmers and ranchers and producers literally cannot get online, where people cannot start businesses in their own town or finish their education after high school because they cannot get online".

Some have talked about using tax credits and other subsidies as reparations, which O'Rourke did not mention Thursday. Vela said he also donated $2,000 to Julian Castro when the former San Antonio mayor and U.S. Housing and Urban Development secretary under President Obama announced his candidacy.

O'Rourke's campaign did not reply to The Daily Caller News Foundation's request for comment. Armando Martinez, D-Weslaco, Eddie Lucio III, D-Brownsville, Ryan Guillen, D-Rio Grande City, Sergio Munoz Jr., D-Palmview, Terry Canales, D-Edinburg; and Hidalgo County District Attorney Ricardo Rodriguez.

O'Rourke narrowly lost a senate campaign to Sen.

"He's not going to get the money he got when he ran for Senate". Although unsuccessful, Mr O'Rourke raised a record $80 million, something he will aim to repeat on the national stage.

"He may not just be running for president, he may be running for vice president". Is this the right thing for the country? "And, of course, he's someone that comes, like I do, from the center of the country".
