'William was quite concerned that the relationship had moved so quickly and being close to Harry, probably the only person close enough to say to Harry 'this seems to be moving quickly, are you sure?'

It was also reported that the Duchess of Cambridge had an "explosive row" with Meghan as she allegedly told her not to instruct the members of her team, saying, "That's unacceptable, they are my staff and I speak to them". In recent television interviews, Thomas Markle has accused the couple of "ghosting" him despite his numerous apologies.

Thomas Markle, a former Hollywood lighting director, has not heard from his daughter or son-in-law since their wedding in May previous year and in a new interview from his home in Rosarito, Mexico, he told "The Sun" that he will keep reaching out and probably get "louder".

Thomas Markle is again speaking out about estranged daughter Meghan, Duchess of Sussex - this time, defending her against gossipy tabloid stories.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first child in spring this year. "Now it's like a dream that has turned into a nightmare", Thomas told The Sun. "I can not cut my tongue out and never speak again", he said.
