There goes another one: Meghan Markle's female bodyguard quits

Princess Diana at Wimbledon in 1995

The news comes after the departure of Meghan's personal assistant, Melissa, late a year ago.

Norfolk is a two hour drive from London, where pregnant Meghan was busy doing a charity visit last week, and three hours from the Cotswolds, where she and Harry are renting a farm home - so distance may have played a part in their absence.

Both the unnamed bodyguard and Ms Cohen worked for Ms Markle and her husband Prince Harry.

The duke and duchess's private secretary, Samantha Cohen, is also set to leave as planned later this year.

The female police officer has never been named for security reasons, but she was the bodyguard who was photographed leaping into action during a security scare in Fiji during the couple's royal tour past year.

The bodyguard, who has not been named for security reasons, has been head of Meghan and Harry's security for less than a year.

More news: Kingdom Hearts III's epilogue won't be available until January 30

'It came as quite a shock.

According to Express UK, Meghan had her eye on changing one little aspect about her new boyfriend when she and Prince Harry first began dating-his refrigerator. Everyone was very sad at the news. Meghan, 37, looked the picture of health and was in great spirits as she arrived at Tomorrow's Women Wirral - an organisation that helps women in vulnerable circumstances.

"Unlike someone who has grown up in the Royal Family and has been used to having close protection from an early age, it can be constraining", a source reportedly told the outlet.

Now the royal rumour mill has gone into overdrive yet again though as Meghan wasn't at the party and it's been suggested that this means she wasn't invited. "Even though [Meghan] was a famous actress, she could still do what she wanted in the way of getting around freely". But colleagues said the bodyguard was "brilliant" and had earned the role on merit.

Kensington Palace and the Met Police declined to comment.
