Sarah Jessica Parker is teasing a glamorous Carrie Bradshaw revival

Sarah Jessica Parker Teases The Return Of Carrie Bradshaw On Instagram

The 53-year-old A-lister confirmed that she has stepped back into the sparkling high heels of her beloved Sex and the City character for a very special reason.

Sarah Jessica Parker has told fans she is making a "brief reappearance" as her Sex and the City alter ego Carrie Bradshaw for a mystery project. Briefly and with a twist, ' she wrote on Instagram along with the video.

The video shows Parker wearing a mint green tulle ensemble walking down the streets of New York City, recreating the Sex and the City opening credits.

The actor also stars in a new Stella commercial (above) promoting the brand's Pour It Forward campaign, which, as referenced in Parker's ad, promises to provide a month of clean water for every bottle of their beer sold in stores or at a bar/restaurant.

Sarah Jessica subsequently insisted she couldn't "imagine" doing another movie without Cattrall, insisting simply reading the script for the proposed Sex and the City 3 would have to be enough for her.

"My old friend. She is making a brief reappearance", Parker captioned the clip of her reprising her role as Carrie.

Set to the iconic tune of the SATC theme song, Carrie walks with objective down a sidewalk before a bus cruises by and splashes her with water - just like in the original. "More to come. X, SJ".

In 2008, a film version of the series - aptly entitled Sex And The City - continued following the adventures of Carrie and her girlfriends.
