Kevin Hart Apologizes Again for Past Gay Jokes

Kevin Hart responded to Don Lemon's request for him to become and LBGTQ ally

Hart said that his words were "chopped up" in previous apologies on his Sirius XM show Straight from the Hart. "There's no more conversation about it". I'm over the moment.

During his hit on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Hart notably did not apologize and drew ire from many who noted that he was playing the victim card.

The actor said he has given all he can thus far and "said everything I can possibly say". "The microscope on me is so f****ng thick that they're looking for everything".

"I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's.this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many fantastic talented artists", he wrote on Twitter. Shortly after, reports have floated that ABC is open to Hart returning hosting the Oscars, which have flagged in viewership over the past few years.

"It's hard to predict what can happen".

Hart apologizing for his remarks: "Once again, Kevin Hart apologizes for his remarks that hurt members of the LGBTQ community". "We thought it was OK to talk like that, because that's how we talked to one another". This is wrong now.

"These weren't words that I said to gay individuals", Hart said. Following backlash and pressure from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Hart apologized to the LBGTQ community for his "insensitive words".

"If the fight from the LGBTQ community is equality, that's the fight". He adds: "I'm riding with you guys". If you don't want to accept people for their change, then where are you trying to get to the equal part?

But he also said that, "In the fight for equality, that means that there has to be an acceptance for change". The fight is the will and want for equality.

The second part of Michael Strahan's interview on GMA focused on Kevin Hart's new move, The Upside.

"I'm not going to continue to go back and tap into the days of old when I moved on, and I'm in a completely different space in my life", Hart said in a video on Instagram.

Hart's "GMA" interview Wednesday capped off a roller coaster few weeks, which date back to when he was announced as the host for the Oscars on December 4.

He would not agree to do the Oscars again, he said, because there was now not enough time left for him to prepare. For the last time, I am done addressing this. "This is not the first time this has come up".

"I'm not debating right from wrong. I've said who I am now versus who I was then".

During their interview, she revealed that she had even called the Academy to ask if Hart could still host the show and said she was told he could. "If anybody out there wants to believe that Kevin Hart is that much of a monster that he wouldn't love somebody due to their choice in life then all power to them". She says its reps instantly replied that they still wanted the funnyman to be the night's MC. You should host the Oscars.

Kevin added the landscape of the world has changed now, particularly with the prevalence of social media, and he regrets the way he spoke on his Twitter page. "I don't have a homophobic bone in my body".
