'Game of Thrones' Prequel Series Casts 8 Rising Stars

BEGIN SLIDESHOW

"It was like it was created to make you think, Right, I'm f**king sick of this", he exclaims.

The untitled pilot takes the prequel concept to a new level as it is set thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones. "In one place. Static".

In an interview with GQ Australia published Tuesday, the actor, 32, spoke about filming the highly-anticipated conclusion to the popular HBO series and how the show, which he's starred in since he was 24, has changed his life.

"After the first season I would say to people, 'We definitely won't get a second season, '" he said. He muses towards the end of the interview that their future kids would be able to watch the show and see how their parents got together, which is of course a nice thought.

Harington concluded, "I thank the show for everything".

And this being Game Of Thrones, the details of all the new roles are being kept behind a giant, frozen wall. "But more than anything else, I thank it for introducing me to her".

"Winterfell is yours, your grace", Sophie Turner's character Sansa Stark says to Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke, who's arrived with her new love interest (and, unknowingly, her nephew) Jon Snow in tow.

The actor, who plays fan favourite Jon Snow in the HBO show, said the team was so exhausted and sleep deprived from the emotional goodbyes that they just wanted to be "done" with it. "The reaction I had while watching them was, 'I'm watching a movie, '" he told Variety.

Not much is known about the series yet and even its title hasn't been confirmed. "They've really done a tremendous job in servicing the drama and the characters and so forth, and there are many ups and downs and twists and turns all across the Game of Thrones society and the world they are", Nutter expressed. Plus, HBO is literally making another Game of Thrones.
