Fiji Water Girl: 'I've been photobombing since I was a kid'

And here she is again with actress Holly Taylor

The year 2019 may just have founds its first meme in the "Fiji Water Girl", who has created ripples on the internet by photobombing nearly every red carpet shot at the Golden Globe awards ceremony held on Sunday.

She does have a favorite photo of the many she appeared in Sunday: It's the one where she appears behind comic actor Jim Carrey.

For this year's Golden Globes, Fiji Water sent out four women to offer stars some refreshment, but only one stole the spotlight.

Sneaking into nearly every celeb's red carpet photo, a model carrying a tray of Fiji Water photobombed the likes of Amy Adams, Nicole Kidman and Timothée Chalamet at the Hollywood event last night.

Oh, however, had at least two people in the room who believed in her.

Somebody even went so far as to start a Fiji Water Girl Twitter account, posting memes in which Cuthbert turns up in unlikely places, including on the surface of the moon.

"No, it wasn't (planned), I've actually worked for Fiji in a similar capacity a number of times on red-carpet things".

"We're so glad everyone is talking about our water!"

And she's been congratulated for being the year's "first meme".

The 2019 Golden Globe Awards were a wild ride from beginning to end, with hilarious bits from hosts Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg, heartfelt speeches from winners like Carol Burnett and Glenn Close, and some truly surprising winners and upsets.

"I really am so Thankful to everybody", she wrote.

And, of course, she didn't have a boring Sunday at all. "I'm just trying to wrap my head around it, and understand the magnitude, but it's so freakish", she said from her L.A. home on Tuesday morning.

"I've been photobombing since I was a kid", she said with a laugh.

They say that no part is a small part.

Insisting that she wasn't seeking out the cameras, the model said: "There's tons of photographers everywhere". The model, who is represented by the Wilhemina agency, has nearly 170,000 followers on Instagram.

"She was perfectly cast, nearly that Cinderella Disney princess idea that you wanted to believe that some woman handing out water at the awards somehow ended up in the back of all these photos".

While the majority of the feedback has been positive, some have poked fun at a few of the glances she gave to some of the stars, which Twitter users seemed to read into when posting their many memes.
