10 Things Red Dead Online Doesn't Tell You

Rockstar has revealed that it will be making some changes to Red Dead Online's in-game economy after players expressed their concerns that it seemed a little out of balance.

This included a lot of fans complaining about the price of items in Red Dead Redemption 2 Online. There is, however, also much that it doesn't tell you, much that would probably be very useful to all players in many respects.

"Red Dead Online' features an open world that players can explore, teeming with story missions, animals to hunt, fishing spots, posses, camps, and various other ways to interact with the massive game world and characters within it". Your feedback in these early days will be instrumental in helping formulate updates in every aspect of the experience. As for the next update, we should expect it by the end of the week.

When talking about the in-game economy, Rockstar said "Our current areas of focus include the in-game economy, which will require some additional balancing in order to ensure all activities are appropriately rewarding and fun..." "The game has been developed so that we will be able to quickly make any adjustments like these, and we plan to get updates out as early as the end of this week with more updates to come next week". Aside from the world feeling somewhat barren, the multiplayer mode suffers from a freaky in-game economy where gold watches are worth less than a can of baked beans.

It is now unclear whether this reworking will extend to Red Dead Online's gold bar system.

Rockstar is also targeting game bugs that consistently kick players out of the online beta. There is no word on how long the game will remain in beta form, but keep checking back with GameSpot for the latest.
