Real Madrid vs Melilla: how and where to watch

Man City news

After winning the first leg 4-0 in what feels like an eternity ago, Real Madrid are now in the act of welling and truly seeing off Melilla in the second instalment of their Copa Del Rey round of 32 tie.

Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari has named a new player to captain Los Blancos against Melilla in the Copa del Rey clash against Melilla on Thursday evening.

The two sides meet again at the Bernabeu Stadium on Thursday and Solari has since been appointed as Julen Lopetegui's permanent replacement.

"This game let us see many players who are well and committed", Solari added.

"The first leg was very good because we put in a very good performance with a good attitude and intensity, against a team that play very good football and are top of their group in Segunda B".

"I'm very happy for Isco, I was very sorry that he missed the one played in the first half, because it would have been a great goal", he told reporters.

Now in full-time charge, Solari rang the changes for this match up against modest Melilla, with the Argentine resting the likes of Thibaut Courtois, newly crowned Ballon d'Or victor Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema.

Javi Sánchez and Vinicius Jr. got the goals for the madridistas as Fran García and Fidalgo both took the chance to make their first-team debuts.

The Spain global is yet to start a game under the new manager and it is understood that the 26-year-old is frustrated with the situation. "The focus has to be on him". "He deserved this prize after a marvellous year with Madrid and the Croatian nation team". It seems to me that at that age it's more lovely because he can truly value it.
