North Korea continuing to upgrade key long-range missile base

Kim Jong Un clears schedule for historic visit to Seoul

In November, the New York Times reported that North Korea was still working on its nuclear missile program at more than a dozen hidden bases, according the Sakkonmol Missile Operating Base, which is about 85 miles from the Demilitarized Zone that separates North and South Korea.

People lie, satellite images don't-hence why the US and South Korea are closely monitoring a new suspected missile site near North Korea's central border with China.

The top diplomats were expected to exchange views on an apparent stalemate in the dialogue with Pyongyang, the possibility of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's Seoul visit and his second summit with US President Donald Trump.

The images not only reveal significant activity at the base, . but also the construction of a new, previously-unknown facility, . just eleven kilometers away from the Yeongjeo-dong base.

He suggested the meeting could happen in January or February and that the United States could continue to enforce the economic sanctions it imposed on North Korea over its weapons program.

Vipin Narang, a politics professor at MIT, tweeted: "North Korea isn't disarming".

Experts told the USA news network that the site´s location made it suitable to host North Korea´s newest long-range missiles, including ones that could carry nuclear warheads. "[Trump] has to be well aware of these developments". Kim pretends to disarm and Trump pretends to believe him.

Kim announced the dismantlement of a nuclear facility at another site in Nyongbyon at a summit with South Korean leader Moon Jae-in in September.

"That's why I think the president thinks that another summit is likely to be productive", Bolton said during the Wall Street Journal's CEO conference.

Evan S. Medeiros, the senior Asia policy director in the National Security Council in the Obama administration, said that another meeting between the leaders would play into the hands of Kim.
