Anthem's closed alpha will be held next week

Системные требования альфа-версии Anthem

The word apply will be users of all major platforms including PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Anthem alpha will be taking place in a series of closed sessions on the two days in question.

In its closed alpha info statement EA said that while gamers can enjoy checking out Anthem, its tech guys will be "adjusting things like matchmaking and server load on the fly." . The Anthem Alpha test will run on December 8th and 9th, and EA has shared the System Requirements you need.

According to Darrah, testers will seemingly be picked on a "first-come first-served" basis, although he admitted he wasn't fully sure on that score.

If you're registered for a Community Playtest, you'll get an email with instructions to download the client for the Closed Alpha before it begins. Will you be signing up for the alpha?

Unfortunately, those playing the closed alpha will be bound to an NDA, so we are unlikely to see footage of the game in action, or hear first-hand impressions.

So, when can you play the alpha?

EA has announced that Anthem is coming to Alpha soon.

Anthem's closed alpha starts in December.

If you have Origin Access (Basic or Premier), EA Access, or you pre-ordered Anthem, you'll still get VIP access to a pre-launch demo. These are the recommended requirements, mind you, which is why we're also seeing a GTX 970 or an AMD R9 390 8GB in the list. You can play in one or all of the tests.

Choose your platform, and when you want to play.

If you're keen to test the game - a sci-fi online co-op shooter, which is something very different for Bioware - then you can sign up here via the EA Community Playtesting Hub (you'll need an EA account).
