Verizon app puts four extra numbers on one phone

You can make calls, send texts, and check the voicemails of multiple lines, and even customize ringtones for each number. After all, whether you plan on using this app for business or pleasure, you don't want to answer a call by saying the wrong name (company or person). The whole idea of this monthly add-on is to let you add up to 4 extra phone numbers to your phone without actually needing an entirely separate line, like you would in the past. That's three more than you could get with Google Voice, and it's so much better than carrying multiple phones.

If you're a Verizon customer and having only one phone number isn't cutting it for you, there's a new solution available.

Just download the My Numbers app from the Play Store to get started.

Unfortunately, if you have a work phone provided to you by your employer in addition to a personal phone you pay for yourself, this app isn't going to work for you. The big red wireless carrier is launching My Numbers today, which will allow users to add up to four phone numbers on a single phone.

Download the Verizon My Numbers app on your smartphone.

Once you follow those steps, you'll have two (or more) phone numbers which will ring on the same phone.

Each line in My Numbers comes with unlimited calls and SMS, and you can sync the call and message records across up to five different phones. Fortunately, Verizon has a way to ease that pain: My Numbers.
