Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union announce birth of 'miracle baby' via surrogate

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union Newborn Baby

"We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that, our miracle baby, arrived last night (11/7) via surrogate", the National Basketball Association star announced. In her book, We're Going to Need More Wine, she confessed that she had suffered from a severe case of baby lust, but had so many miscarriages that she actually lost count. The two shared the news on their respective Instagram pages Thursday, each posting the same three photos and caption. Welcome to the party sweet girl! Union had been open about her fertility struggles and called the birth of their daughter a miracle. For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant - I've either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle'.

A big congrats are in order for Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, who have just welcomed their first child together via surrogate!

Their plight nearly caused the actress to give up her dreams of having a baby altogether, until they chose to use a surrogate. The Miami Heat player is already a father to sons Zaire, 16, Zion, 11, and Xavier, four, from previous relationships. The star told Dr. Oz, "There's so much shame and mystery and guilt that surrounds fertility issues and that's why I wanted to include it in my book because I'm exhausted of it".
