The best responses to Piers Morgan dad-shaming Daniel Craig

Piers Morgan Disgusted With 'Emasculated' 007 Daniel Craig Carrying Baby Daughter

Then, in a crossover event, Captain America star Chris Evans leaped to Craig's defense, noting that Morgan has to be "uncertain" of his own masculinity to concern himself with "how another man carries his child".

Some users responded by calling Morgan names - "insecure manbaby" and worse.

Morgan tweeted, "Oh 007... not you as well?!"

Most comments defended Craig, who also has an older daughter from a previous marriage, for using the carrier to transport his child while walking in NY.

Still others wrote that a father taking care of his child, even wearing a papoose, is attractive. "About time more in the media celebrated this, I mean aren't you right-wing oddballs always bleating on about lack of family values?"

Morgan could not be reached for comment; neither could Craig, who recently welcomed his daughter with actress Rachel Weisz to the world.

The tweet sparked immediate outrage from parents on Twitter with many fathers sharing pictures of them carrying their babies in similar carriers.

And, of course, there were more troll-y tweets.

Yep, that's right. The former "America's Got Talent" judge thinks that Craig donning a Baby Bjorn somehow undermines the hypermasculinity of James Bond.

The Good Morning Britain host posted the mocking comments on Twitter along with an image showing Craig carrying his month-old daughter on his front "in what is often known as a papoose", reports the BBC.

But Morgan, who has four children, refused to back down on his claims that papooses are "ridiculous instruments of emasculation".
