California Deputies Use Doritos To Round Up Rebellious Pig

This giant pig was lured back home with Doritos. San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department

'They lured him back home with Doritos one of our deputies had in her lunch bag.

The sheriff's department responded after receiving a call about a pig wandering the neighborhood- a pig they later affectionately named "Smalls".

Police in California had their hands full after responding to a call of an escaped pig "the size of a mini horse" trotting through a neighbourhood in San Bernardino County.

An adorable video that was shared on social media shows the moment the deputy left a trail of chips along the street so the pig would follow.

Deputies managed to successfully lure the wayward pig back to his home, got him locked up behind a secure gate and back into his owner's custody, without incident. "It was fun!" said Deputy Ponce.

"They located the pig but had no way to gain control of the animal", the sheriff's office said in a press release.

Apparently there's nothing the crunchy snack can't do, especially when it comes to a roaming pig with a hearty appetite.
