Footage and Assets of Telltale’s Cancelled Stranger Things Project Leak

Telltale Games hit with major studio closure

These two next clips show the updated look for Telltale's conversation system, and a bit of exploration around the house.

According to reports, employees were informed about the closure and told to leave the building within 30 minutes, but they can return today, within a three-hour period, to collect their belongings.

CEO Pete Hawley said that the positive feedback Telltale received for its game releases this year hasn't translated into sales. Unfortunately, we ran out of time trying to get there.

This comes after Melissa Hutchinson, who's voiced Clementine since the first season of the game began in 2012, released a weekend statement saying that the final season would mostly likely be left unfinished.

Telltale will issue further comments regarding its product portfolio in the coming weeks.

Well... no. The huge pre-production eyes aside, there was a whole new element to Telltale's Stranger Things game, First-Person stealth sequences. Before it wasn't even clear if The Final Season's second episode would be released today, though former staff had said it was finished. Housed within the hashtag is an overwhelming amount of video game studios reaching out to help, including Blizzard, Ubisoft, Guerrilla Games, Riot Games and many more. They've cut down to only 25 staff who remain to "fulfil the company's obligations to its board and partners", which meant 250 or so people were given the boot.

What do you think about this news? However, given the company's recent issues and then out of the blue shutdown, it's hard to trust that we'll see more of these games ever without more concrete information.
