Drake Sues Woman Over Alleged False Pregnancy and Rape Claims

Article Image Update Drake Suing IG Model Layla Lace for False Pregnancy Claim and Extortion

Drake says she created a "fantasy relationship" with him and, at a point, didn't have the "time or energy to respond" and he says that set her off.

Days after one of Drake's alleged former flames accused him of impregnating her and then refusing to answer her calls or texts, all traces of her accusation suddenly disappeared.

In the lawsuit, Drake (legal name Aubrey Graham) admits to having what he says was consensual sex with Lace after meeting her while on tour in Manchester, England in February 2017.

When her alleged fake pregnancy plan didn't work, she went to NY police and claimed Drake raped her during their one-night stand. Police ultimately cleared him but Lace allegedly continued to demand millions of dollars for silence.

TMZ reports that the "In My Feelings" star's lawyer, Larry Stein, has filed court documents accusing Instagram model Layla Lace of civil extortion, emotional distress, fraud, defamation, and abuse of process, with unspecified damages being sought. According to the lawsuit, she then threatened to publicly leak messages from Drake, which she made good on when she went on Sirius XM and announced Drake got her pregnant.

The suit also noted "there is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last Fall". Drake responded encouragingly to a few of her texts. According to the lawsuit, "Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed oral sex".

Rapper Drake reportedly filed a lawsuit against a woman over an alleged plot to extort him by using false pregnancy and rape claims. The case was referred to Manchester police, who interviewed Drake and ultimately cleared him right away. She then apparently hired a new lawyer and again demanded money from him and even threatened that she would make the rape claims public if he didn't pay her the dough.

"Enough is enough", the lawsuit states, as reported by The Blast. The lawsuit also claims after Drake inquired about a paternity test Layla and her lawyer went ghost. It would be easy for Drake to pay for silence.

In May 2017, Lace actually tried to take legal action against Drake. Ironically, all of this messy drama has since led her to delete her account, which was essentially her bread and butter.
