Manigault Newman landed in Washington D.C. on Saturday to kick off a publicity tour for her soon to be released book, "Unhinged", that is chock-full of explosive - though unverified - details about life in the White House.

Sanders says, "It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks".

Asked by TMZ if it's fair to say that the president is "causing tensions among African-Americans right now" after the "LeBron James situation", she replied with a s short sentence: "he wants to start a race war".

She previously stated in an interview on Friday with NPR that she has heard Trump on an Apprentice tape using the racial slur.

When Manigault Newman questioned him about bucking the inauguration tradition, Trump allegedly responded with "Yeah".

The Guardian, which obtained an advance copy of the book, said Newman writes in her book that Trump used "the N-word" while taping "The Apprentice" and that he was caught on camera.

President Donald Trump added to the drama behind the release of former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman's soon-to-be-released memoir after a "Bikers for Trump" photo-op in Bedminster, New Jersey Saturday.

Elsewhere in her book, she claims the president suffers from "mental decline" and alleges she once saw Trump chew up a piece of paper after a meeting with his then-lawyer Michael Cohen.

Manigault Newman also describes Trump as a man who "loved conflict, chaos and confusion; he loved seeing people argue or fight". While she doesn't provide direct evidence, she cites three unnamed sources who attest to the existence of the tape.

She said: 'I was told exactly what Donald Trump said - yes, the N-word and others in a classic Trump-goes-nuclear rant - and when he's said them.
